Meet the new MIC students

Meet the new MIC students

Hi, I’m Jason Schultz and I’m a second year Master of Divinity student at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. I’m originally from the western suburbs and I went to Eastern Illinois University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. After college, I worked in non-profit direct service, including with people with developmental disabilities. I’m interested in missional development and church planting, and I’m really excited to learn about the many ministries at Concordia! I appreciate your hospitality and I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can this school year!

Greetings Concordia,

My name is Nicholas Schmidlin.  I was born and raised in Ohio.  I am a die-hard Cleveland sports fan! I am in my second year of study at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in Hyde Park.  I will be getting married in Chicago on September 30th to my lovely fiancé Morgan.  I love competing.  I am currently training for the Chicago Marathon and then in January I will be running in Disney and then at the end of the next year I will be competing in the Chicago Triathlon. I look forward to being able to worship and grow with you all in the coming year.
